Overview

Spruceview Capital Partners LLC was founded on the belief that institutions need – and deserve – better investment management: more personalized service, higher quality resources, stronger risk management, greater commitment to serving as their fiduciary, and superior access to top investment managers.

It’s our approach, combined with the extensive experience of our team, that sets Spruceview apart.

We are delivering the next generation of institutional investment management.
Collaborative partners creating customized solutions.

Spruceview is more than an outsourced chief investment officer. We are a Partner CIO. Because every institution is different, we begin each relationship in the same way: by listening. Spruceview devotes the time, attention and resources necessary to develop a profound understanding of – and tailored strategic approach for – every client we serve. With our clients’ best interests in mind, we will intentionally limit the number of clients we serve.

Market intelligence.

We are investment industry veterans employing our previous successes for the benefit of Spruceview clients.

We accomplished many of our past achievements as a team. Several Spruceview partners worked together as key members of the team that managed JPMorgan’s U.S. pension plan. At the time, the plan was one of the largest U.S. corporate defined benefit plans, with the highest funding ratio among plans with more than $5 billion in assets.* Our CEO/Co-CIO and other senior team members are highly respected investment professionals who have managed portfolios across all major asset classes for large endowments, pension plans and other institutions.

A pension plan’s funding ratio is affected by many factors, including investment returns, company contributions and changes in benefit obligations. US pension plan, please see Note 9 to the consolidated financial statements contained in JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2013.
